The Pastor With 2 Talents (CE58)

Mat 25:22-23 "He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.' His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'"
Though this servant (Pastor) was only given 2 Talents, he will be rewarded as those Apostles, which clearly indicates that the Holy Spirit within us is doing most of the work and we are to follow Him in obedience and humility.

Teacher - he must teach only truth which he has received from the Lord by abiding in His words.
John 8:31-32 "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
But during these last days it will be extremely difficult to stick to the truth for Christians are not interested in truth but have been slowly deceived into accepting and enjoying distorted truth and heresies.
2Pet 2:1-2 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

Pastor - he must feed and disciple his sheep as a good shepherd.
John 10:11-13 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep."

Ezek 40:10,13 "And the Levites who went far from Me, when Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity... And they shall not come near Me to minister to Me as priest, nor come near any of My holy things, nor into the Most Holy Place; but they shall bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed."
It is so difficult to pastor in the last days, as the sheep love distorted truth, wrong teachings and heresies which make their carnal man to be proud of their successes, achievements and power. Prosperity gospel and positive confession are the main culprits.
2Tim 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Thank God that in this wicked last generation He has raised up good pastors, who like the sons of Zadok, keep to the pure word of God.
Ezek 44:15-16  "But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood," says the Lord GOD. "They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge."

Beloved Pastors of the Lord, no matter where you are serving (in churches, charitable homes, cell groups, missions, care centres, etc.) you can please the Lord just like the Apostles if you are His good shepherd (2 Talents) to His sheep.
